Neil Gallagher

Neil Gallagher is a native Floridian and co-founder of Brighterway Solar. Neil has been in the construction industry for 6 years with 3 on the residential side as a project manager. 

Prior to joining our team, Neil served as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps where he was a section leader of three Amphibious Assault Vehicles. He graduated in the top 10% of his class at Officer Candidates School and his proudest achievement was being awarded the Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal for his work in the Tampa Community. 

Neil is a graduate of the University of South Florida where he graduated with honors with a degree in Financial Planning.  He was selected as the Veteran of the Year for USF in 2017 and was a recipient of the MUMA College of Business 25 under 25 program. 

In his free time, Neil enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, kayaking, and distance running. He is an avid traveler, even running with the bulls in Spain in 2018.  Neil is also an active volunteer in the community with over 2000 hours since 2015. He started a nonprofit called Preserving the Stories where he interviews WWII, Korean, and Vietnam Veterans about their experiences. He hopes to publish a book to preserve their legacies.
